PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 7 and PHP 8 Support in Cloud Website Hosting
With our cloud website hosting plans, you will be able to choose which PHP version will be enabled for your account, as several versions are available on our servers. With just one click of the mouse, you will be able to switch between PHP 4, 5, 7 and every time a new version is published in the future, we’ll add it to the Hepsia hosting Control Panel without removing the previous ones. In this way, you’ll be able to host all the websites that you have set up over the years. In stark contrast to a lot of other hosting providers, we will not force you to update such sites, because a script may be outdated, but this does not necessarily mean that it is insecure since you may have implemented modifications to its source code to fill security holes. For your convenience’s sake, you will even be able to set a different PHP version for each individual website that you host in your shared web hosting account.
PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 7 and PHP 8 Support in Semi-dedicated Servers
Even in case your websites were created with an older PHP version, you’ll be able to host them in a semi-dedicated server account from us, since we support several versions running at the same time on our semi-dedicated servers and each of them can be enabled for your account with just one click of the mouse from our in-house created Hepsia hosting Control Panel. In addition to the newest PHP 8, we also offer support for 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4 and the older PHP 4. The latter has already been dropped by most hosting providers, but we strongly trust that you shouldn’t be compelled to modify a website that took years to build, as older script language syntax doesn’t always imply safety flaws. Just the opposite, a rightly maintained website using PHP 4 can be more secure than an inadequately maintained one using PHP 5. For the sake of your convenience, we will also provide you with the opportunity to pick a different PHP version for each single site within your account.
