Multiple OS
What number of server Operating Systems will you be able to choose from?
Each and every personal computer or server is run by an Operating System - the low-level software that interacts with the computer hardware, including peripherals such as a mouse or a printer, as well as any apps that are currently installed on the system. Any program input through a command line or a Graphical User Interface (GUI) is processed by sending an Application Program Interface (API) request to the Operating System. On a server, every single application runs within the parameters defined by the OS as well - priority, physical memory, processing time, and so on. This is valid for both standard Internet site scripts and server-side software like a media server. In case a virtual server is set up on a physical one, there can be two independent Operating Systems, named guest OS and host OS, so you will be able to set up a different software environment on the very same machine.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
The dedicated servers we offer can be set up with as many as three different Operating Systems because we want to offer you more flexible solutions that will permit you to install and run any web software regardless of its system requirements. Your options are CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu and these three OSs are among the most stable and risk-free ones, not mentioning that they do not have any license fees. All three have numerous developers who have created numerous software packages that you may install and use on your server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one you can use depends on the Operating System that you select when you register. If you need another OS afterwards, it will not be a problem since we can always reinstall your machine. With our Managed Services package we could also keep your OS secure by updating it on a weekly basis with any patches which are available for it.
